Transform a New York Townhouse
If you’ve ever wanted to transform a New York townhouse, why not check out this amazing redesign featured in Architectural Digest.
The transformation was created by Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent, the married designers who returned home to Manhattan from LA. The popular couple from the TLC show ‘Nate & Jeremiah by Design‘ decided to leave the City of Angels after just two years after Jeremiah missed the energy of the East Coast.
Nate said:
“I realized that New York would never get out of Jeremiah’s system, and I knew that personally I would be just as happy either way. It’s either the place or the space that holds you.’ For him it’s the place. For me it’s the space.”
The show follows the couple inside and outside of the home, as they juggle married life while helping distressed homeowners turn a disaster into a dream home. In each one-hour episode, Nate and Jeremiah use their talent and irresistible charm to transform lives through design. They rescue homeowners who have gone over budget and over schedule on renovation projects and cannot see an end in sight. Little did they know that one day they’d need to heed their own advice by leaving their ‘dream house’ on the West Cast to return to The Big Apple!
Nate quipped:
One thing I can promise you. I will never again tell a publication that a house is my ‘forever home’. We’ve learned our lesson!”
