The Sofie Side Chair in AluRattan is an aluminum version of our popular Sofie Side Chair. This chair preserves all the upscale French bistro charm of the original Sofie Side Chair with the addition of a sturdy aluminum frame that makes the chair able to withstand year-round outdoor use and inclement weather of any kind. AluRattan consists of a strong Aluminum frame with woven ArtFibre making it the choice for 100% maintenance free outdoor use. Powder coated aluminum with woven ArtFibre seat and back.

The material is maintenance free and can withstand all weather conditions. ArtFibre is a fiber made of dyed and hard-wearing polyethylene. It is ideal for outdoor use in any climate as it is temperature and UV-resistant.

The ALU Aff?ire collection are designs from our Aff?ire collection, where the natural rattan frame has been changed to an aluminum frame. The aluminum frame is hand bent using similar methods as when rattan is bent, and then powder coated. The frame is then woven with our ArtFibre which is available in a selected variation of colors. ArtFibre is an artificial fiber made of dyed and hardwearing polyethylene. It can withstand the sun's burning UV-rays, heavy rain and even frost. ArtFibre is the material we use for the bindings and weaving of the seat and back of our Aff?ire cafe furniture pieces. The combination of powder coated aluminum and ArtFibre provides our furniture with strength and comfort, and furniture that can be used outdoor all year.
